Dragon's Dogma-Eye to Eye

There was a pregnant pause as the bow string, strung tight, the wielder's hands shook. Eye to eye with the beast of the sky. Wings spread afar, blood staining the the white feathers. 

'Mistress?!'

One of her Pawns called, fair distance away. Fear that the griffin would strike her down keep them all in place.

'Shhhh, Kalev.'

'Mistress..?'

The Pawn would call again, more so quiet so only his Arisen could hear. Unsure of what action to take, surely movement would case the agitated beast to strike. Surely just standing there did not boded so well with it either. 

'Put your weapons away.'

Pawns moved doing so as told, though unsure as to why.  The griffin, watched both parties, vision split. Warning with a low piping snort. Arisen moved next, slowly lowering the bow. Strung string loose as the arrow was moved back to quiver, both watching still. Then her steps where even slower as she moved to step back.

'Step back as I do. Slowly.'

Pawns did so, copying their Arisen perfectly, a simple command to follow. Arisen keep her footing, rocks littered the ground beneath her form the strange outcome. Form previously crumbled walls, with the ensued battle that had followed. Griffin stepped back as well, as if reading her mind, only to lunge forward. The rocks having given out form down under. 

'Arisen!!'

Her hand moved to stay the coming Pawns, with griffin over head. It gave a piped screech an was off on beating wing to lick it wounds. Only then did her hand fall, did the Pawns come to aid. Standing her up an fawning like a mother hen.

'Went rather well didn't it?'

'I wouldn't say so Mistress.'

'You worry to much Kalev.'

Kalev is said as Kale, named after Sinbad's 2nd in command.  I know in the game they say master, but playing as a female it just seemed they should of said Mistress so i changed it.
